Vredestein Tyres
How did Vredestein transform its international tire premiere into an unforgettable digital welcome that personally engages every guest?
By replacing the traditional entrance with an interactive RFID tunnel that recognizes attendees in real-time, seamlessly weaving their identity into the brand’s visual narrative.
The future of personalized events: Interactive RFID tunnel for Vredestein
The exclusive international launch of Vredestein’s latest tires, held at the prestigious Brdo pri Kranju, set new standards in high-level corporate event organization. The event was designed not merely as a traditional product launch, but as a comprehensive, tech-driven experience that brought together leading experts, key partners, and media representatives from numerous countries. Our goal was to transcend conventional presentation formats and create an environment where innovation serves more than just visual impact—it actively builds a personalized and unforgettable first touchpoint between the visitor and Vredestein’s forward-thinking brand vision.
Business challenge
The organizers set an ambitious goal: to move beyond traditional presentation formats and offer international experts, partners, and media representatives something truly innovative. The main challenge was how to create an immediate, personal connection with each guest the moment they entered the venue, while simultaneously communicating the advanced and technological nature of Vredestein tires through visual storytelling.
Solution: Interactive LED tunnel for an unforgettable first impression
We designed the centerpiece of the reception area—an interactive tunnel consisting of five large LED screens positioned over the guest walkway. Instead of generic greetings, we created a system that recognized each individual’s identity and dynamically displayed their name on the screens in real time. This visually impressive installation served as the first point of contact, instantly immersing guests into the world of the brand the moment they arrived.
Result and long-term value
The result was a unique, technologically advanced experience that gave visitors a strong sense of personal recognition and inclusion.
- Exceptional first impression: The interactive entrance immediately elevated the event and provided a “wow” factor.
- Brand positioning: With the help of the aforementioned technology, Vredestein has further solidified its position as an innovative and forward-looking brand.
- New possibilities: The project proved that RFID technology can be used as an exceptionally powerful tool for live personalization, opening the door to new creative formats for corporate events.

The heart of the solution was the seamless integration of hardware and our proprietary software, which enabled a so-called “pass-through” experience. Unlike standard NFC solutions that require physical contact, our system is based on UHF (Ultra High Frequency) technology, where the tech becomes nearly invisible, making its effect on the user all the more magical:
Upon registration, each attendee received a badge with a discreet UHF RFID tag embedded inside. This technology allows data to be read from several meters away, which is crucial for maintaining a smooth flow of people without the need to stop or physically tap cards against readers.
At the entrance of the tunnel, we installed custom-developed UHF towers, which were precisely calibrated to operate in a complex environment filled with metallic structures (LED screens). These towers constantly scanned the area, detecting the arrival of each individual guest with high precision before they even stepped under the first screen.
Our software received the ID signal in milliseconds, cross-referenced it with the central attendee database, and triggered the corresponding visual command. The entire process—from detection to display—happens so quickly that the system operates intuitively and adapts to the visitor’s walking speed.
The system displayed the participant’s name on five large screens above their head, integrated into a pre-designed brand visual identity. The integration ensured smooth transitions and visually appealing personalization that caused no delays.
