Digital Disruptor #40

What are all our data, tools and technology worth if they do not lead us to change anything?

In the jubilee 40th edition of Digital Disruptor, we focus precisely on this question.

The first article is about the most expensive piece of data — not because we do not have it, but because we have it and ignore it. Today, almost every company can access data, reports, dashboards and AI tools. But real value is created only when someone uses that data to change a process, an offer, communication, or to take responsibility for a decision.

We then open the topic of choosing between the easier and the harder path. In business, we often choose shortcuts that seem simpler, safer and cheaper at the beginning. But these are exactly the kinds of decisions that can later limit growth, data, user experience and development potential. The right decision often costs something at the start, but it also builds stronger foundations.

The final article opens a slightly more personal topic: perhaps we do not need a digital detox, but healthier boundaries. Technology is not the enemy, but the best technology is not the one that constantly demands our attention. The smartest technology is the one that helps us, reduces friction and then steps aside.

In this edition, we are also introducing a short section — one news item or trend worth following.

Because the most expensive data is not the data we do not have.
The most expensive data is the data we have and ignore.
